Fluxzero CLI
The fz command creates Fluxzero projects and controls their local development environments. Your agent uses the same tooling through MCP. The CLI is useful when you prefer a terminal or need to inspect which environments are running.
-
Create a project
Section titled “Create a project”Install the CLI, then run:
Terminal window fz init --name my-appFollow the prompts to choose a template and project settings. Open the generated directory in your agent or editor. The template determines its Maven/Gradle build and frontend requirements; follow its README rather than assuming every project uses the same wrapper.
fz templates listlists templates. For an existing project, open that directory instead of generating over it. -
Start or resume local development
Section titled “Start or resume local development”From the project directory:
Terminal window fz devThis starts the managed development environment, or attaches to the existing environment for that project. Use its current URL to open the app and Devboard. The Dev Server manages source changes, builds, tests and services. Keep it as the owner of that loop while it is active.
For detached operation:
Terminal window fz dev --backgroundfz dev statusfz dev logs --follow --errorsDetached processes continue using resources until stopped or their configured idle timeout expires. The Dev Server page explains profiles and lifecycle.
Environment readyA current Devboard URL and status for this project, with one environment managing builds and tests.
-
Find and stop an environment
Section titled “Find and stop an environment”Terminal window fz dev listfz dev attachfz dev stoplistis global;attachandstoptarget the current project unless you specify another project directory. Check the target before stopping.fz dev restartreinitializes the entire environment and can replace ephemeral local data; use an app-only restart in Devboard when that is the intended scope.Use CLI command reference for options, MCP for client integration, and GitHub Actions for cloud delivery. Deployment is handled by the delivery pipeline and System API, not a
fz deploycommand.
