Review usage and costs

Use this guide when you want to understand resource pressure or the cost of a running app. You need access to the application’s usage views and, for charges, the organization’s Billing area.

Live applicationUsage + Billing
  1. Select the organization, cluster and application. Open Usage or Monitoring → Resources and choose the period you want to understand. Compare CPU, memory and storage with configured capacity, and separate individual tasks from the application total.

A short CPU peak, sustained memory pressure and retained storage growth are different observations. Use Insights for the same period to see which operations account for work. Monitoring reference explains those measurements.

  2. Ask your agent to relate the change to a release, workload or product flow. Compare a representative period before and after it. If an operation is unexpectedly expensive, investigate its behavior before assuming that increasing capacity is the only remedy.

Review the current plan and capacity in the dashboard and pricing. Billing and usage answer different questions: a local Devboard memory graph is not a cloud invoice, and a configured resource allowance is not necessarily a measurement of consumption.

  3. Before changing capacity or pausing a cluster, read the dashboard’s current quote and consequences. Pausing compute preserves data/configuration; retained storage, backups or plan charges may still apply. Treat the displayed billing terms as the source for your organization rather than inferring a zero bill from stopped workloads.

After a change, repeat the same usage comparison and check that the application’s response and main flows remain acceptable. Use Billing for the resulting charges. If a charge is unclear, contact Support with the period and billing item, without sharing unrelated application records.
