Open an existing project
Open the project’s directory in your coding agent. Use this guide after a break, when changing projects, or when an old Devboard link stops working.

Find the current environment
Section titled “Find the current environment”Ask:
Ask your agentOpen this existing project with the Fluxzero tools. Check its directory, active profile and current status. Reuse its running environment if available; otherwise start the intended local profile. Open App preview and summarize the latest build, tests and Progress.
Use the returned live URL. Do not infer the project from an old localhost port. In Devboard, check the project selector and Workspace before trying the app.

Establish the starting point
Section titled “Establish the starting point”Read the latest work in Progress and ask the agent to inspect any uncommitted changes. Confirm which change you are continuing. A completed historical item does not prove that the currently checked-out code has just been tested.
If the app is running but looks old, ask whether the latest build succeeded. If startup is incomplete, inspect Startup and let the agent diagnose its failed or blocked actions. See Devboard for the meaning of these views.
Ready to continueThe intended project and profile, its current preview and a clear account of the work you are continuing.
Choose a profile deliberately
Section titled “Choose a profile deliberately”A profile selects the services and configuration used for development. The example’s local demo and an external-provider profile can behave differently. Before switching, establish which data and external systems the profile uses and what a restart will discard.
The CLI provides the terminal equivalent: fz dev list, fz dev status and fz dev attach. Use Investigate unexpected behavior when the environment is running but a product flow fails.
